The banana seedling multiplication project is nearing completion as the project has now started transferring secondary banana suckers into tubes. The suckers are ready for planting and farmers will start accessing the seedlings. As part of income generating initiative, farmers will sell some of the seedlings to immediate farmers in their community. More suckers are expected to protrude from the decapitated corms which will result into many farmers under the project to access high quality seedlings.
